The city of Lublin, a tourist hotspot, is known for its rich history and captivating legends. Recognizing the potential of these narratives, Tremend decided to incorporate them into the design of the Ibis Styles Lublin Old City hotel. The result is a unique hospitality experience that takes guests on a journey through the city's past, introducing them to its legends through custom-made furniture, installations, and intricate details.

The design team faced the challenging task of translating six different legends into interior design elements. They achieved this by dividing the common area into zones, each representing a different legend. These zones are distinguished through floor changes, ceiling arrangements, and unique equipment. Despite their differences, the zones cohere thanks to a unified style, characteristic elements, and similar materials.

Some elements of the legends are quite visible, such as the fish stand reception, while others are more subtly incorporated, like the webcorner shaped like a chest or the net above high tables. This approach encourages guests to explore the hotel and discover the stories embedded within its design.
